What schools and kindergartens Alanya has: state, private, international and Russian speaking options. Documents, enrolment, cost and a child's adaptation after the move.
What schools Alanya has
Alanya has state schools taught in Turkish, private Turkish schools, international schools taught in English, and classes and clubs in Russian.
State schools are free but fully in Turkish, so for a child without the language it is a serious load. Private and international ones are paid but gentler for adaptation and with smaller classes.
Kindergartens and nurseries
Kindergartens are mostly private, full or part day, and many take children from an early age. There are kindergartens with English and with Russian speaking staff.
Places in good kindergartens are taken in advance, especially before the school year, so it is better not to leave this to the last moment.
Documents and enrolment
Enrolment usually needs the child's residence or its process, passports, a vaccination record and previous schooling documents with a translation. Private schools each have their own terms.
We help gather and translate documents, enrol and pass the interview, so the child starts school without delays.
Language and adaptation
Children pick up a language faster than adults, but the first months are worth supporting: a gentle school, extra Turkish or English lessons and contact with peers make adaptation calmer.
The choice of school depends on age, language and the family's plans. Sometimes it is wiser to start with an international or private school and move to a state one later.
How we help
We suggest schools and kindergartens for the child's age, district and budget, help with documents, translation and enrolment, and attend the interview as a translator.
